Angela Davis Supports Wisconsin Workers

For the first time ever Angela Davis and Tim Wise shared dialog in a public forum. These two giants brought their humor, wit, and prophetic voices together filling the house with a warm and energetic hope for progressive change during the Speak Out event at the First Congregational Church of Oakland, CA.

In the photo here, Angela Davis symbolically stands with Wisconsin Workers for their right to unionize and in support of the struggle taking place day to day.

I was lucky enough to get a ticket from a friend to see Tim Wise and Angela Davis in their first public dialog. In this photo Tim Wise stands up to support the workers of Wisconsin in their right to organize.
